A lovely diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1900) era! Beautiful in its simplicity, this solitaire-style ring has a mixed metals design crafted in 14k gold and platinum. At the center is a single diamond, which rests in a white gold 8-prong setting. The sparkling diamond is an Old European Cut stone, exhibiting a J color and SI2 clarity. The platinum shoulders of the ring exhibit exquisite filigree detail work. Completing the design is a smooth yellow gold band, which is faintly stamped "18CT" inside the shank. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in May 2024 and has a stated retail replacement values of $6,500. This amazing ring is a wonderful example of early Edwardian work and would make a perfect engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6, but could be easily resized.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or platinum prongs. The diamond is intact and securely set.
