An exquisite enameled sapphire ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This gorgeous 15k gold ring features a stunning sapphire cabochon, which weighs approximately 1.20ct with a striking dark blue color. The sapphire is bezel set with milgrain detailing lining the crest of the setting. Completing the design are black tracery enamel accents that decorate the sides of the setting in an elongated scrolling pattern. A gorgeous Victorian era piece, it looks outstanding in person and would make a very special engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.75, but could easily be re-sized. The diamond rests a little more than 1/4" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or the black tracery enamel. The sapphire is intact and securely set.
